The Fairy Stone; a hoar stone. A glacial boulder, erratic
and shapeless - never erect. (2-3)

An earthfast rugged, roughly round glacial erratic at SO
37237958 upon steep SW slopes of permanent pasture, measures
1.3m by 1.0m and stands 0.7m above ground level. It has
every appearance of being entirely natural and there is no
evidence to suggest it was ever a standing stone of prehistoric
origin. Surveyed at 1:2500. See GP. (4)
